default password

When you are finished installing WordPress, it automatically generates the default username “admin”. This is of course very predictable for hackers that can perform big attacks on your website.

WordPress is giving you the option to change your default username upon installation. Therefore, make sure to change your username during the installation.

When making your own password, it should be unique and has least 8 characters combining the lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Never use dictionary words for passwords. Check the image below to see how to change the password.
