The next important thing in decreasing your page loading time is optimizing the images on your website. Doing this can give you a higher ranking in search engines and a better user experience. One of the best solutions for this is
Optimize Images
Optimize Images
WP for compressing images effectively
WP for compressing images effectively.
This plugin has a free and premium version. The free version is good enough if you don’t have a big collection of images on your website. However, if you have a lot of images, we recommend that you invest on a premium version because it is faster and does a more efficient job.

Now that you already know the drill, you go to plugins, add new, search for WP, and install it.

After that, go to "Media" and click Bulk as shown on the picture below.

Once you have done that, you will observe that the speed of your page loading time will decrease significantly.

When we used EWWW and SmushIt optimization for all the images on 1WD, we reduced 25% of all the image size. That was more than 1GB saved with this optimization!

EWWW is another plugin to optimize your images. However it really does not do as good of a job as the WP

After you’re done, delete or just deactivate the plugins, don't slow your website down. You can just activate these plugins the next time you want to use it. I would recommend using it once a month.
